Hi freebird,
First I must give credit to Susan Sorrell (see link in blogroll)… I took a ‘doodling’ class with her…
after photoshop?… well some are just pictures stuck into one of my sketch books… these are A3 I like to work ‘big’… I will pick a small area from one of the designs and enlarge it… sometimes just on paper sometime onto fabric…
transfer to fabric?… depends how quickly I’m working… sometimes I just sketch/paint the outlines freehand… I also use tissue paper – then stitch through it – then pull it away… sometimes I use water soluble fabric… but I have also ‘carve’ polystyrene to make a stamp… I use the polystyrene trays I get food in from the supermarket…
I do hope this has made sense I’m much better at showing/talking you though a technique than writing about it…
I didn’t know your email address to write to so thought I’d do it here. I could use a few days too – make sure my doodle card wasn’t a one-off! I will make more and write back. Glad you liked it.

I just had an instant art lesson here. And what do you do with these after photoshop? How do you transfer to fabric for manipulation?
