Getting sidetracked!
Doesn’t life have a way of sidetracking you…..
then yesterday morning the lasted copy of selvedge arrived, a great magazine but it has meant very little doodling got done.
New page…
I’ve managed to upload four pictures from my journal, they are in a new page ‘doodles and collage’, why… oh… why… did I decide to use an A3 size journal….
More doodles!
This time I’ve cut out pictures from magazines………. I seem to be drawn by eyes…….
but I can’t get the picture to upload…… tried several times …….. no luck will try again tomorrow as it’s getting late here…….
Doodles!
My local art class has finished for the summer, so I’ve signed up for a Joggles Online Class, the class is ‘Doodle Designs’ with Susan Sorrell. I’m still working on the first lesson but I’ve added some of my first doodles ……… just look in the sidebar…..

They keep the flame of possibility alive.” — Rafe Martin
The above spoke to me, I found it via a link, Spirit of Trees, on a blog called Spirit Cloth, this is a wonderful blog full of great work, ideas, links and inspiration. I really must start scanning/posting some of my work.
Must try to remember this quote!
I was following links, as one does, and came across the following quote
Be content with what you have;
rejoice in the way things are.
When you realise there is nothing lacking,
the whole world belongs to you.
Tao Te Ching, in verse 44, Lao Tzu (translation Stephen Mitchell)
I found it on Robin Paris blog my first visit but an interesting blog and website.
